Simon Cowell Feels Like He Was "Wrong" With Chezza For X Factor

It takes a big man to take responsibility for his mistakes, let alone what some people view as a mistake for entire show.

When asked to expand upon the decision to send Cheryl Cole packing, Simon admits that it was probably a wrong decision:

I worked with her for years in the U.K., and she was sensational. We shot a couple of days, and I just had a feeling — and I was probably wrong – and I think she would disagree with this. And I thought she would be more comfortable on the U.K. show, and we spoke to her.

Initially she agreed to it, and we were way into a negotiation. And it all went public and it all went horribly wrong. And she was offered to come back to the show. And she didn’t want to go on that. It was one of those decisions you have to make as a producer.

This doesn’t mean, however, that he’s unhappy with Nicole!

Either way we are SO ready to watch us some X Factor!!
