Airport Stripper Sues!

Airport Stripper Sues!

Aaron Tobey Airport Strip Fourth Amendment Virginia

Aaron Tobey, an inspired college student, was arrested after he was forced to undergo a search and pat-down in the Richmond, VA Airport.

Why was he arrested? Was he hiding something illegal?

No. Not quite.

Instead, he decided to make their jobs a little easier by stripping down himself. And when he stripped down, he displayed the fourth amendment written across his chest, which outlaws “unreasonable searches and seizures.”

Apparently someone came prepared!

But security was prepared too….to arrest that ass!

They immediately called airport police to come and handcuff Aaron, no questions asked.

Later, the charge of disorderly conduct was dropped. That is, later on after the TSA realized he was suing them for $250,000!

According to Tobey’s complaint:

[The] overbearing, heavy-handed and unfounded actions of security personnel violated free-speech and other constitutional rights.

We have to hand it to Aaron Tobey, A+ for cleverness (and cuteness)! We all want to be safe when we fly, but the procedures in place are getting a little out of hand if you ask us.

Flying is a privilege, not a right, we totally get that. What we don’t get is how they can keep inching further and further toward complete insanity.

C’mon, the guy should have at least been questioned before being arrested! And furthermore, why was he being detained for a peaceful protest in the first place? TSA wanted to make sure he didn’t have anything on him, so he was like, sure, in fact, let me strip down for you. Sounds to us like their egos got a little bruised when they read the American amendment on his chest.

It’s becoming more and more clear what Benjamin Franklin meant when he said, “those willing to give up freedom for security deserve neither and will lose both.”
