Come December 17, SNL fans can rejoice in the return of Jimmy Fallon!

The host of NBC’s Late Night spent six years on the iconic Saturday night sketch show, so coming back to host is a thrill for the funny man.

Breaking the news, Jimmy told fans:

I’ve never forgotten where I came from. That’s why I’m so incredibly honored to be hosting the Saturday Night Times program December 17th on HGTV.

LOL! Oooh, Jimmy. You’re delightful!

Always loved for his big heart and genuine smiles, Jimmy’s special return episode is definitely one to be excited about, so mark your calendars and Tivos!

Oh, wait! We can’t forget the bow on top!

Jimmy will be joined by Michael Buble as the evening’s musical guest.
