Justin Timberlake Revamps Myspace Into MusicSpace

Justin Timberlake Revamp Myspace Music

Eat your heart out, iTunes!

Justin Timberlake knows music, and he’s pretty sure he knows what people want next in their online search for new beats.

Myspace will become a music hub, and JT believes it can surpass iTunes, Spotify, and Vevo by doing it.

According to senior vice president global marketing Al Dejewski:

No other music destination online today can claim the breadth of partnership we have with the four major music labels in addition to the tens of millions of independent artists and the libraries of their songs.

Heyyy, good point!

Myspace is arming itself with the right tools and people to launch this massive reformation: they’ve hired two branding agencies to find promotional partners (celebrities, etc.), they will launch the campaign later targeted to both new and dormant Myspace users, and they promise to include a mix of print, radio and digital outlets.

All right, Myspace, all right. Not bad.

If anyone’s creative mind could save you, we can’t think of a celebrity better than Justin. The Memphian knows music inside and out, and since that’s all anyone used you for anymore, it doesn’t surprise us he decided to expand on it.

You scared, Facebook?

Ha! Yeah, right! We joke, we joke.
