Remember when Chris Brown had to throw his rolex to the side of the VMA stage because it came loose?
And remember how an honest fan actually caught it and held on to it until it was returned?
Yeah, amazing right?
Well now we hear the timeline of events straight from Alisha Borton‘s mouth:
I was actually on the stage right behind where the trampoline was. You can see me right behind the trampoline on TV [and] you can see where he takes off his watch and throws it. I guess he did it on purpose. There’s the watch flying in the air, I just picked it up and put it on my wrist. I was afraid it was gonna get broken.
Whenever he came off the stage, I kind of went towards him but he didn’t see me at all. Then we were walking back to where we were [standing onstage]. There was a lady, the lady came up to me [and said], ‘I need that watch,’ and she took it.
I thought it was expensive, I didn’t think it was [$22,000] expensive. I had it on my wrist waiting for somebody to take it. That’s crazy. That’s like taking a car and trying to sell it. It didn’t cross my mind that I could keep it.
Siigh, so great to know the world is still home to honest people.
And really great to know Breezy is rewarding the fan, as we previously reported, giving her VIP concert tickets and a special meet and greet during his tour.
Now if only someone would return our camera…
