We guess the magic of Disney is still holding strong!
The re-released, now 3D version of the classic Lion King dropped this weekend, and is already holding strong at #1 with a $15 million debut in 2,330 theaters, followed closely by Contagion with $12 million in 3,222 theaters, and then Drive with $11 million from 2,886 theaters!
Wow! That’s seriously impressive!
Especially with the reviews that the latter two are getting!
Congratulations, Simba and company! You’ve still got it!
