X Factor: The Musical????

We’ve just learned that Simon Cowell is currently in the process of putting together an X Factor musical to be performed at London’s West End.

Simon has already been in touch with British comedian Harry Hill to write the book, and he’s brought on comedic music producer Steve Brown to come up with ideas.

According to Simon’s prod company Syco, they’re currently in “very early discussions” regarding the musical show.

Hmm…we’ll be curious to see how they’ll translate X Factor into stage musical format. Perhaps it’ll be the story of an underdog contestant who defies the odds and WINS the show?
