Ratings Are In! Two & A Half Men Destroys The Competition!

And by the competition, we mean its rivalry with itself.

Everyone knew the world was going to tune to watch Ashton Kutcher take over for Charlie Sheen on Two and A Half Men, but considering these numbers, Chuck Lorre should be sending his new star all kinds of muffin baskets!

2.5 Men premiered with an outrageous 18.7 rating and a 26 share. To compare, last season’s premiere came in at 9.5/14. Now, a 9.5 is not something to scoff at. That’s very strong. But at 18.7 … that’s just UNBELIEVABLE!

So, in total, the show had about 27.7 million viewers. No show gets that kind of turn out – except maybe American Idol!

But can they really hold those numbers? Sure, there is hope for next week since the premiere is a two-parter, but beyond that …

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Super impressive start though. Ya’ll should be very proud.

Now, we wonder how Charlie’s roast did!
