We’re so thrilled that so many are taking a stand against such a GROSS injustice!
After the last plea for clemency on behalf of Troy Davis, the 42-year-old Georgia native and death row convict whom many believe to be wrongly accused of killing a police officer in 1989, was turned down yesterday, many celebrities – including Kim Kardashian, Diddy, Samantha Ronson, Rosario Dawson, and many more – have taken to their Twitter accounts before his scheduled 7pm execution today to lash out at the justice system with the hashtag #TooMuchDoubt, while others have encouraged their followers to participate in rallies, e-mail and call the parole board, the judge, and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder!
With so little time left, we sincerely hope that the powers that be can reconsider! How are we supposed to have faith in the justice system when things like this are STILL happening?!
