Up until now, Russell Armstrong‘s presence has been completely eliminated from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in light of his shocking suicide last month, despite his disintegrating, allegedly abusive marriage to Taylor being a major plot point this season. However, according to sources close to production, he will eventually be appearing, as footage of he and the reality star in couple’s counseling will be aired.
The insider explains:
“Bravo has done major editing of the show, to be sensitive to the fact that Russell killed himself. However the decision was made to air the footage of the therapy sessions. Viewers will see the two of them with their marriage counselor, Dr. Charles Sophy, as well as individual sessions with Taylor. Russell’s one-on-one sessions will not air. Taylor is completely supportive of the decision, and thinks it will help battered women to make the decision to leave an abusive relationship, just like she did.”
We don’t even know what the right thing to do in this situation is anymore.
Perhaps there just isn’t one.
But we agree that if this footage can help any women in similar situations get out of an abusive relationship, then at least some good can come from this horrific, devastating tragedy.
Stay strong, Taylor.
