Oh, Ashton!
Earlier today, we were very disappointed when some photos of Ashton Kutcher partying with alleged mistress Sara Leal surfaced.
Now, it looks like Ashton is getting himself into even more trouble…this time with CBS!
On his show Two and a Half Men, Ashton sneakily promoted the following companies by using stickers with their names on his character’s laptop:
Foursquare, Flipboard, Hipmunk, GroupMe, Chegg
It gets worse, though, because Ashton reportedly holds “investment stakes in each of those properties.” So yeah, he was basically giving free advertising to his own companies without telling anybody.
Here’s what a CBS rep had to say about it:
“This was not part of any advertising transaction with CBS. Our policy is to disclose such financial interests in a credit at the end of the broadcast.”
Fortunately for Ashton, it’s looking like CBS won’t be taking any sort of action against him.
Unfortunately for Ashton, he may headed towards a $290 million divorce.
Sigh.
