Ex-Weezer Bassist Dies At 40

So sad.
Weezer‘s old bassist from the late nineties and the early 2000’s has passed away. He was only 40 years old.
Mikey Welsh was found dead in a hotel room from a suspected drug overdose:

According to Chicago police, Welsh was found unresponsive on the floor of his room at the Rafaello hotel after failing to check out on time.

We are so sorry for everybody close to him, the loss must be so heavy.
