We hardly see how this is relevant to the matter at hand, but whatevs!
As the case against 19-year-old Dharun Ravi, who is accused with crimes including bias intimidation for his role in the suicide of Tyler Clementi, continues, his lawyer, Steven Altman, is requesting that prosecutors hand over a hand-written note from the victim, as well as files from his computer, that could show his state of mind and help his roommate get off the hook!
Obviously, the prosecutors have argued that this information isn’t relevant, and Judge Glenn Berman is now reviewing it in his chambers, with a ruling expected on Thursday.
Regardless of this poor kid’s mental state, the fact of the matter is this young man still terrorized him by violating his privacy and airing it on the internet. He needs to be held accountable for these cruel and inappropriate actions.
