Gabrielle Giffords Shooting Hero Gets Elected To Arizona School Board!

Groundbreaking moves are happening in Arizona!
As reported in January, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot while at a Tucson grocery store and her intern Daniel Hernandez Jr. rushed to her assistance.
Hernandez Jr. was able to sit next to Michelle Obama during a State of the Union address and he has awarded again for his bravery 10 months later.
The former intern was elected to fill a vacant school board position for Sunnyside Unified School district, winning with 61.8% of the vote. Not only is he a Latino, he is openly gay! In Arizona!
