Not many singers are fortunate enough to have quite as extensive of a career as Bette Midler! After releasing 15 albums and selling over 30 million records worldwide, Bette will soon add yet another award to her Grammy-winning name!
On June 14th, the songstress will be honored with the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
The annual event pays tribute to excellence in songwriting and will be held in New York City.
Songwriters Hall of Fame chairman Jimmy Webb says:
“Bette Midler captivated the world early in her long career with her stylish presentation and unmistakable voice, making each song her own, and turning them into pure gold.├óΓé¼┬¥
And we can’t help but AGREE!! WAY TO GO, BETTE!! Loves it!
