It’s crazy to think that it’s already been one year since all the dramz went on between Charlie Sheen and Two and a Half Men!
However, between his firing, hiring his replacement and his feud with co-creator Chuck Lorre, the show miraculously survived!
Not only has it survived, it has THRIVED with Ashton Kutcher co-starring in it, as it is STILL one the top-viewed broadcast shows currently on air!!
Chuck Lorre spoke at the 29th annual PaleyFest, saying:
“This is a miracle. A year ago today, I know we thought the show was over and it was heartbreaking. There’s no closure. To have the show get reborn like this and have people enjoy us, it’s been a great year.”
Even with all of its continued success, it’s still not known if the show will be back for a 10th season OR if Kutcher will sign on for another year.
Lorre is remaining overconfident positive, though, stating:
“It’s unusual when they cancel a show that’s in the top 10.”
The show premiered with 28.7 million viewers last season in September…we think it├óΓé¼Γäód be hard to imagine it NOT getting renewed!
