Gillian Anderson, mother of three, and star from X-Files, has revealed she’s had several lesbian relationships.
She said her first lesbian relationship was with a woman while she was still in high school.
She apparently didn’t struggle as much with her sexuality the way many young people do today.
She said:
“If I had thought I was 100 percent gay, would it have been a different experience for me?
Would it have been a bigger deal if shame had been attached to it and all those things that become huge life-altering issues for youngsters in that situation?
It├óΓé¼Γäós possible that my attitude around it came, on some level, from knowing that I still liked boys.”
Maybe that played into it … but maybe she’s really comfortable in her own skin … as well she should be!
Even though she’s had numerous female companions, she still gets the hots for some of Hollywood’s hottest hunks.
Like Ryan Gosling!
When asked about her dream role if she got to play Blanche DuBois from A Streetcar Named Desire she said:
“I guess there├óΓé¼Γäós some kind of identification there, or a thought that I have something to give.”
And when asked who her ideal Stanley (the male lead) would be, she said Ryan Gosling, saying:
“Can you imagine!?”
We can imagine! And we often do!
She’s a woman who’s very comfortable with her sexuality and we think that’s fabulous.
