On top of apologizing for his massive meltdown on Thursday’s Today, Charlie Sheen revealed some inneresting deets about his upcoming sitcom Anger Management — INCLUDING the first two still images from the show!
It definitely has a familiar sitcom look to it, which is new for FX original programming, but that seems to be an environment where Charlie flourishes.
When asked what his new character is like, the actor on the rebound told Matt Lauer:
“He’s flawed. He’s an ex-ball player who had anger issues, whose career ended because of an incident…trying to break a bat, you know, didn’t go well. He’s a guy that just wants to give something back.”
Charlie points out, and we agree, that he seemed to be the perfect man for the job based on his own “flawed” characteristics.
That’s not all he covered either. The troubled sitcom star talked about a variety of issues, including his sobriety and his harsh criticism of Ashton Kutcher‘s performance on Two and a Half Men.
If you’re a fan of the MaSheen, we definitely recommend watching the entire interview above. If you’re just looking for a sneak peak of Anger Management, just fast forward to the 06:10 mark for two stills. Enjoy!
Are U excited for the premiere of Charlie’s latest television project?
