We heard about this intriguing collaboration way back in May, but we kinda forgot about it. LOL!
So good thing they just dropped it!!
For the new movie, Days of Grace, Scarlett Johansson recorded her own rendition of Billie Holiday‘s Summertime! Sultry!!
But then she got a lil’ help to give it an edgier feel… and in comes Massive Attack‘s 3D and LCD Soundsystem & DFA‘s Tim Goldsworthy!
It’s Summertime all right… but it sounds like such a mysterious one!
And for the context of a film soundtrack, we actually like it! Never hurts to try something different every once in a while, riight??
