Even with The Three Stooges and Cabin In The Woods hitting theaters, The Hunger Games STILL managed to sell the most tickets across the country for the fourth weekend in a row.
As a result of earning $21.5 million between Friday and Sunday, the $90 million movie has made $531 million worldwide!
Damn! We wish we would have invested. Ha!
Stooges and Cabin finished in second and third place, with $17.1 million and $14.9 million respectively.
With only Zac Efron‘s The Lucky One and the romantic comedy Think Like A Man to compete against Lionsgate’s juggernaut next weekend, we wouldn’t be surprised if The Hunger Games remains number one at the box office for a FIFTH week in a row!
