Maleficent Update: Two More Cast Alongside Angelina Jolie

Miranda Richardson and Imelda Staunton have been cast in Maleficent, a live-action retelling of Sleeping Beauty given the “Wicked treatment.”
Angelina Jolie plays the evil misunderstood Maleficent, the arch-enemy to young Elle Fanning’s narcoleptic Princess Aurora.
The newcomers will play Knotglass and Flittle, two of Aurora’s three guardian pixies.
Sounds cray cray!! (Also, we thought their names were Flora, Fauna and Merryweather???)
Staunton is best known for her 2004 portrayal of Vera Drake and Richardson currently stars in Ridley & Tony Scott’s epic Starz miniseries World Without End.
Hopefully it’ll be as cool as Snow White & The Huntsman, but we won├óΓé¼Γäót know for sure until March, 2014!
