If you think Fifty Shades of Grey has outsold the Hunger Games, you should go whip yourself!
New sales figures from the Hunger Games‘s publishers show the Suzanne Collins trilogy as 2012’s top seller (so far).
They currently have 50 million books in print — 23 mil of the original book, 14 mil for Catching Fire and 13 of Mockingjay.
At the beginning of the year there were only 23.5 million copies in print. That means they’ve sold 27 MILLION copies just this year!
So far, Fifty Shades of Grey has only sold 20 million copies.
Perhaps people prefer girl power over submission….. 😛
