Rashida Jones Apologizes For Saying John Travolta Should 'Come Out'

That was quick!
Rashida Jones is apologizing for the comment she made about John Travolta‘s sexuality during a recent interview promoting her latest movie, Celeste and Jesse Forever.
While talking about Frank Ocean coming out of the closet, she expressed hopes that a big movie star would too. Using Travolta as an example, she blurted out:

“A movie star. Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let├óΓé¼Γäós do this.”

She must have given the subject some serious thought because she’s already regretting her statement. The Parks and Recreation star took to Twitter on Tuesday to apologize and tweeted:

Very respectable!
Although there has been no shortage of men stepping forward to support Rashida’s “thoughtless comment,” we think she made the right move by apologizing.
If Travolta or any other movie star wants to come out of the closet, they’ll do it when they are good and ready.
Or when a sex tape leaks. LOLz!
