Do dreams really come true?
Arrested Development is coming back, so why can’t Freaks and Geeks??
Let’s do the math…. An all star cast (i.e. James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Martin Starr, Busy Phillips, Linda Cardellini, and John Francis Daley) + the writing / directing stylings of Judd Apatow and Paul Feig + A HUGE fan base = commercial and critical success explosion!
You can’t deny math! Making a Freaks and Geeks film IS a logical thing to do, but will it happen??
When asked about the possibility Feig, who created the show, told reporters:

“I find it scary. I mean it could be great, but if it├óΓé¼Γäós anything less than great, then it just waters down the memory of the rest of the show. For some reason that becomes the last thing you├óΓé¼Γäóve done, and I always feel like if you don├óΓé¼Γäót get it right it erases the memory of what came before it. But I don├óΓé¼Γäót know. If we came up with a great idea, who knows?”

That sounds hopeful! But sadly, Judd Apatow seems to disagree.
On the topic of a Freaks and Geeks, he said:

“I love the question mark at the end of the series, so I never want to know more than that. It is the reason why you don├óΓé¼Γäót want to find out what happened, like when they got off the bus in The Graduate. That├óΓé¼Γäós the main reason why it doesn├óΓé¼Γäót feel interesting to do. But whenever we see any of the actors together, they have just such ridiculous chemistry that you could tell you could put them in any situation and they would be really interesting to watch, and sparks would fly. So there├óΓé¼Γäós a chance I├óΓé¼Γäóm just completely wrong.”

Um… yeah you’re wrong! 😛
We understand that he’s an “artist” and he can’t just make things because we want him to… but he really should!!
Perhaps we should kidnap them and force them to make it! We mean, um… forget we said that!
