While last night’s premiere of Lindsay Lohan’s Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick, failed to garner rave reviews from critics, LiLo can at least count on one person for support!
Linds’ biggest fan, following her Liz Taylor portrayal? Her dad, Michael, of course!
Papa Lohan resurfaced and took to Twitter, writing:
You proved the critics wrong@LindsayLohan you are one of the best, so gifted, so amazing! Now apply it ALL! God bless you! And our family!
— Michael Lohan (@MichaelJLohan) November 26, 2012
Of course, LiLo and Michael still aren├óΓé¼Γäót on good terms — especially after that leaked phone convo — but it seems like he├óΓé¼Γäós trying to get back in her good graces!
Michael continued his Twitter praise, tweeting:
All the critics should find new jobs! They know nothing about @lindsaylohan talent! She has more talent in her pinky then all of them together

Anything in the hopes of Lindsay’s affection, LOLz!

However, others had a field day with LiLo’s Lifetime debut, which included a whole lot of drinking, smoking and “Elizabeth wants to play,” ha!
Some not-so-positive/HIGHlarious Twitter critiques included:
I just realized Liz & Dick is on. No, I wasn’t watching it, but I can literally smell it.

Clearly Dead Liz & Dick are being interviewed by a Dead Interviewer offscreen or maybe it’s…GOD!

They can hide Lindsay’s adorable arm freckles and they can’t spackle some toner on her leg bruises? #lizanddick

Why does it feel like Liz and Dick, starting in one hour is like waiting for the Mayan Apocalypse…
— Adam Shankman (@adammshankman) November 26, 2012
The real question is when is Lifetime going to make “Dina and Michael”? Cause THAT’S SOME SHIT I WOULD WATCH. TWICE. #lizanddick
