Awww, BRADLY!!!
It seems Brad Pitt is JUST as socially conscious as his devilishly gorgeous UN ambassador future wife Angelina Jolie!
While on the set of his latest film World War Z, Brad’s security guard was approached by a charity rep for Southampton Hospital’s neonatal unit who was collecting donations from cast and crew for the healthcare facility.
When informed by his guard what was up, Brad proceeded to give all the cash he had on him — a generous $1100 — to the cause!
The rep later expressed:
“I couldn’t believe it, I was completely dumbstruck. He said if he had more he would have given it. I said honestly that is more than enough, but if he wants to do anything in the future that is absolutely fine…I am in awe of him.”
Yes, that was a truly AWEsome action!
It is the most WONDERFUL news when we hear celebs giving back to the human community, to the people who support them ALL by viewing/listening/participating in their various creative projects.
If we could all just learn to be a little more giving, a little more willing to help… imagine what a beautiful, fruitful, flourishing existence we could create!
