Even though Elmo’s puppeteer Kevin Clash resigned recently amidst an underage sex scandal involving one man who has since dropped all charges and two new accusers, it seems there are those close to the iconic voice who wholeheartedly believe his innocence…
Including Kevin’s ex-boyfriend Jason Murray!
29-year-old Mr. Murry recently expressed:
“Kevin is not a villain. Yes, he had an affinity for younger men, but what successful [straight] man doesn├óΓé¼Γäót have an affinity for younger women? It├óΓé¼Γäós the same thing, gay or not. Does he prey on these guys? In my heart I don’t believe that. I think it’s like Hugh Hefner, he dates younger women. Kevin likes younger guys. [But] I am reading the news and all the negative stuff. I don’t see it. He had a good heart.”
Oh we hope hope hope that all the truly awful accusations we’ve been hearing are just opportunists looking for a big payoff!!
Although that in itself is so horrible — to destroy a man’s career and reputation for one’s own personal gain.
But if these claims against Kevin ARE true… well our hearts go out to his victims.
We only hope justice is served where it’s deserved!
