Talk about a change of heart!

Metallica‘s latest album has been leaked by a French fan in advance of its September 12th release, and they’re actually happy about it.

For reals!

Drummer Lars Ulrich told San Francisco radio station Live 105, “If this thing leaks all over the world today or tomorrow, happy days. It’s 2008 and it’s part of how it is these days.”

This is the same Metallica who was suing mad about piracy a few years ago!

We get it, Metallica! These days you make loads of money playing live, not by selling albums, right?!
