Amber Riley may have indignintantly announced “I AIN’T no Kelly Rowland!” in the pilot episode of Glee, but we bet that now, years later, both she and series creator Ryan Murphy feel like eating their words BIG TIME!
We certainly wouldn’t blame them, given just how SMOKING the former Destiny’s Child star’s solo career has since become!
Gurlfriend has been back with a VENGEANCE this year, between her Divas performance and multiple collaborative efforts with Ludacris, Big Boi, and Future, and now, with her upcoming album Year of the Woman on its way, she’s released a brand new track that will most CERTAINLY reaffirm the title choice as SPOT-ON!
Ch-ch-check out her latest, Number One (above), which was produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and will appear both on Woman and his very own mixtape, Est. in 1989 Pt. 2.5!
Hellz to the YES!
We’re seriously just LOVING everything we’re hearing!
If this is any indication of what to come from her, then we think everyone can agree that 2013 is going to be a SERIOUS treat for our musical palette!
Keep it up, gurl!
