Taylor Swift and Harry Styles might still be on the mend from their recent break-up, but we’re pretty sure Simon Cowell and the rest of the One Directioners aren’t too upset about it…
Since the end of Haylor, One Direction’s sales have increased by a MASSIVE 50 percent!!
Unfortunately, Taylor isn’t getting the same kind of love from her fans as her concert sales dropped by half.
Louise Malluck of Seatwave (a ticketing website) rationalizes:
“The adulation received by 1D is one of a kind, and the boys├óΓé¼Γäó fans are famously protective. Since many of Taylor├óΓé¼Γäós fans are also 1D fans, she may have bitten off more than she can chew by dividing their loyalties.”
Oh man!!
Things looks grim for Tay Tay now, but just wait until she puts out her next album revealing Harry’s wicked ways than we’ll see where the fans’ loyalty lies.
UPDATE: Taylor’s rep says the rumors about her low ticket sales are “completely false–all of her shows are sold out, and we haven’t even had any new on sales in weeks, much less the last few days. Just simply not true.”
Guess love lost is just as good for bidness as it is for her song writing!
