The movie, based on Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln by historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, beat out Argo, Life of Pi, Silver Linings Playbook, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower!
Tony even beat Jennifer Lawrence, and that was tough this year! LOLz!
