When you’ve got lemons, you should definitely make lemonade.
And that’s just what happened with Jennifer Lopez after her marriage with Marc Anthony fell apart.
Although she “felt like [her] whole world had fallen apart,” J.Lo got a little help to use that pain in a productive way.
The singer revealed her latest film Parker came around at the perfect time as she revealed details about the casting:
├óΓé¼┼ô[Director Taylor Hackford] called me and he was like, ‘I have a part for you.├óΓé¼Γäó And I was like, ‘Really? Oh, cool. What is it?’ And he was like, ‘You know, I’ve been watching you on American Idol, and I love that girl. I love her, but that’s not who I want. But it made me think something in this character. ├óΓé¼┬ª When I see you there, I think you never give up. You keep going.├óΓé¼┬¥
If anyone can bounce back from hard times it is Jenny from the Block!
And even though Jennifer might not have been at her best, she eventually saw the similarities. She said:
├óΓé¼┼ô[My Parker character] Leslie, even when she’s down on the bottom and everything is bad at that time, she won’t give up. She still has a glimmer of hope.├óΓé¼┬¥
Sounds just like J.Lo!
We can only wonder if her Leslie character ends up with a hot boy toy as well.
Now that’s a movie we want to see!
