Maybe they realized they did steal!
On Wednesday, LVMH made the decision to discontinue a sneaker design that looked very similar to New Balance‘ 574 Model and as a result, the suit was dismissed.
Michael Pantalony, LVMH’s North American director of civil enforcement says the resolution was amicable.
But, New Balance sees an opportunity in all of this.
Ed Haddad, VP of Intellectual property at the shoe company said “Based on our experience in resolving this issue and understanding what we both share in protecting intellectual property, we now hope to explore joining forces with Louis Vuitton in certain anticounterfeiting initiatives.├óΓé¼┬¥
