One day she’s wearing the $50 million Victoria’s Secret fantasy bra, and the next she’s advocating for animals’ freedom.
Kylie Jenner, 29, continues surprising people this week, this time with a powerful campaign raising awareness for wild horses as controversial roundups continue.
In a short film shot by Gia Coppola for luxury brand Stella McCartney, the powerhouse influencer goes bare-faced and free on the beach as she communes with a trained horse. The campaign was close to fashion designer Stella’s heart, who’s always been avid lover of all animals.

Disturbed by the ongoing treatment of horses, Stella said in a press release:
“Thousands and thousands of wild horses are being rounded up, taken from their babies, their brothers and sisters, their mothers and fathers. They are being taken from their natural habitat and their birthright. It is suffering and cruelty, and it really pains me. I wanted to expose what is happening to these innocent creatures and use this campaign to educate and inform.”
Commenting on why she chose Kylie to be the face of their new era, she wrote:
“For this project, it was really important for me to work with people who reflected the times in which we live and had the strength to carry this conversation of consciousness and kindness forward…this was an opportunity to reach a different audience, to tell a different story and to use fashion to have a deep and meaningful conversation about our connection with nature and the protection of wild horses…”

Social media reacted with high praise:
“It is completely heartbreaking to see the cruel and inhumane treatment our American Wild Horses are being subjected to. It is a tragic injustice against our beloved American Wild Horses. Thank you for your compassion and empathy.”
“Stella, our hearts were irreparably broken by the recent brutal round up of 650+ wild horses in Mono Lakes, CA. We are contacting every possible person involved – from perpetrators to politicians who may be able to stop the madness from ever happening again. Thank you for adding your global work, voice and vision. Please let us know if you have any insight where to best focus our efforts.”
“Thank you for speaking up for wild horses @stellamccartney they are being persecuted worldwide. In Australia the government is shooting brumbies from helicopters in blatant disregard of evidence gathered to demonstrate horrendous animal welfare outcomes”
According to a startling investigation from the The New York Times, federally protected wild mustangs are now being sold by the Bureau of Land Management thanks to a “legal loophole,” thereby stripping them of their protected status.
Once they’re no longer protected, NYT reports they then become vulnerable to entering the slaughter pipeline.
In response, the Bureau denies selling them straight to kill buyers and ensures contracts prohibiting such action, but advocacy groups remain concerned, arguing the agency cannot fully prevent such controversial secondary sales.
As an avid supporter of animal rights, Stella McCartney remains committed to ethical, cruelty-free practices.
