Marc Jacobs' Fashion Show Looked Like A Million Bucks

Because that’s exactly how much money Marc Jacobs spent on his Fall 2011 fashion show earlier this week — and that’s low-balling it.
Jacobs’ business partner Robert Duffy told the New York Times: “It could be more, but it├óΓé¼Γäós definitely at least $1 million.”
So how does one rack up a bill that high?
Well, they spent a large chunk of money on 1,100 yards of vinyl fabric that had to be shipped from California to create 20 foot columns that lined the runway.
And then there’s the 50 hairdressers who weaved $180 worth of human hair hair extensions on to 63 models, plus the 35 makeup artists, the 70 dressers, models and the company that actually produces the show.
After all that’s said and done, the NY Times estimates that the 9 1/2 minute event cost a staggering $1,750 PER SECOND.
