Steven Meisel Has W Seeing Double

And they’re not happy about it!

W magazine is pissed at photographer Steven Meisel for shooting an editorial featured in their September issue that’s practically identical to one he shot months earlier for Italian Vogue.

The black and white spreads have the same dressed up and dressed down theme and even includes the same model Raquel Zimmermann.

Apparently this is a big deal to W because Meisel didn’t tell them about the Vogue shoot (even though it was published in the August issue) and they think he used their money to finance it.

So far neither Steven Meisel or W‘s editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi.
