A big congratulations are in order for Valentino Garavani.
On Wednesday the 79 year old retired designer was honored by FIT’s Couture Council for Artistry in Fashion.
Before receiving his award Valentino said on the red carpet:
“I have to tell you, I am very emotional because it├óΓé¼Γäós a good award, and after two-and-a-half years, when I stop my job, it is nice to be here and to have this award.”
Aww.
We think it’s well deserved!
