The First Lady Hosts The National Design Awards

Michelle Obama played hostess at the Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt National Design Awards on Tuesday.

The event held in the East Room of the White House honored top designers, including J. Mendel‘s Gilles Mendel for exceptional work in fashion.
