Romance is in the air! Or at least in USC Quarterback Matt Barkley’s head.
When asked by a reporter what he thinks it would take to get pop star Taylor Swift in the stands, he said, ““I don’t know. Maybe a Notre Dame game [against USC], but that’s a long shot.”
The college quarterback is referring to Taylor attending the Notre Dame vs. Purdue game earlier this year at Notre Dame all decked out in their school’s gear, but that was probably because her little bro’ Austin Swift is a freshman there.
To sweeten the deal the jock proposed, “I’ll take you out to dinner if you come to a USC game.”
That sounds a little weak to us, Barkley. Just dinner? Not even a movie? At least throw in a USC frat party!
