It├óΓé¼Γäós a clich├â┬⌐, but as you get older it becomes harder to keep your love life alive — each partner gets busy, kids come along, etc. But Brooke Burke and her partner David Charvet have found a way to do it.
Said Brooke in the latest issue of Shape:
“First, you need to be healthy. That means exercising to relieve stress and build energy. It truly is good for your sex drive to work out.”
Step two is lighting some candles and putting on some sexy music to set the mood. The final step: Don’t break the date!
Brooke continued:
“I’ll fess up here. Sometimes we’re so tired, it’s just a glass of wine and a good night’s sleep. But the point is that we’re making a commitment to each other and saying, ‘We love the kids, but we matter too.'”
Brooke says that exercise becomes more and more vital as you become older — both for your health and for your self-confidence.
“There’s something magical about a woman who feels comfortable in her own skin. Power and beauty come from a very deep place. You can look at a supermodel and, yes, she’s beautiful, but then you meet a woman who just has something special about her, who becomes more attractive as you get to know her. The older a woman gets, the more she can tap into that ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ at least that’s what I’ve experienced personally. It’s about owning who you are.”
Such great advice!!
