Catherine Zeta-Jones has been standing by Michael Douglas throughout his entire battle with cancer, so it’s not surprising that she got a little emotional when she found out it was gone.
Said Michael:
“She had a good cry when she heard. I can’t tell you I was jumping up and clicking my heels. For me, it will probably be two or three months before it will really sink in and feel good.”
Catherine is probably emotionally drained from the entire experience, although she’s obviously extremely happy about the news:
“We are so grateful for the wonderful care Michael has received and of course for this happy news. It’s an incredible way to start the New Year.”
It is SOOO good to hear that Michael beat cancer — it gives hope to others still struggling!!
