Bret Michaels ‘In Good Spirits’ After Heart Surgery

Bret Michaels underwent surgery yesterday to close a hole in his heart, and we are happy to report that everything went well and he is recovering in Phoenix!
During the surgery Bret had a cardiac catheterization, which essentially wires the hole in his heart shut.
Said Bret a few hours before the operation:

“Physically, I’ve been through more blood tests than I care to mention. Mentally, I’ve talked to my daughters about it. I said I have to go through this operation, but everything is going to be great.”

And thank God he was right! He’s reportedly in good spirits and should make a clean recovery!
