There isn’t much information for us to go on yet, but, Reese Witherspoon was hit by a car.
The incident happened when the Oscar award-winning actress was out jogging on Wednesday:
The incident occurred during a jog in Santa Monica, Calif., a rep for the actress, 35, confirms. The driver, an 84-year-old woman, was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, say reports.
Apparently she wasn’t too seriously injured and nothing was life threatening, and is now resting at home, which we absolutely hope is the case:
“She was bleeding from the side of her head. She held a towel against her head to keep it from bleeding. She was quite lucid talking to the lady who hit her. It was an elderly lady and she kept saying, ‘please don’t sue me. I have nothing’.” In reply, Reese was “lovely” Alma says, telling the woman she “wouldn’t think” of suing her.
