Bobby Womack Is Cancer Free!

Bobby Womack, soul legend, is now CANCER FREE!!
Woo hoo!
We previously mentioned that he was in the hospital with pneumonia and diagnosed with colon cancer.
A tumor was removed and now the doctors are saying he’s cancer free.
A post on his Facebook page said:

“Bobby Womack has successfully undergone surgery for suspected colon cancer. A tumor was removed last night which turned out to be cancer free. We wish him all the best in his recovery from the operation. Thank you for all your kind messages and support.”

Even though he’s been through a serious battle and currently recovering, he’s said his singing voice is amazing, saying:

“Bad as I been, I can sing my ass off, better than I could before. Maybe it’s been preserved or something. If I can take control of my life from drugs, divorces, anything, I stand tall.”

We’re so glad he’s healthy and feeling better than ever!
