Target was a dog in Afghanistan in the war zones. She had survived an attack by a sucide bomber after she scared him out of a military base.
Target was a hero.
Unfortunately, due to a mistake at Pinal County’s Animal Control Target was euthanized. So sad!
After Target slipped out of Sgt. Terry Young’s backyard she was brought to the shelter. When Young came to claim Target, he found out that she had been put to sleep. What a terrible thing.
Young said that Target had saved his life and the lives of many other soldiers when she had scared that suicide bomber out of the military camp, which resulted on only 5 injuries and no deaths.
This is so unfortunate. We will always remember Target the hero!
