The pups are here to stay!
Kim Kardashian took to Instagram over the weekend to let fans know she is still very much a dog mom. A few months ago on Christmas, the SKIMS founder surprised her four children, including North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 6, with their very own Pomeranian puppies. Not, like, one for all the kids to love… EACH kid got their own pom!
While the pooches were undeniably adorable, it didn’t take long for fans to begin criticizing the entrepreneur, given her allegedly questionable history with pets:
“They keep getting animals and then we never hear about them again. It’s like the Bermuda Triangle for pets.”
“This is infuriating to me! Dogs are family not ‘gifts’ that end up given away”
“If they each got a puppy then it’s not special at all. How will they learn to love one pet as siblings when they each get a personal dog like it’s a Tamagotchi?”

PETA even joined the conversation, criticizing Kim and Khloé, who got a black lab for her kids:
“Puppies aren’t plushies. Kim and Khloé Kardashian missed a huge opportunity to use their platform to help shelter dogs instead of buying from breeders. Ignoring the homeless animal crisis is inexcusable. Next time, call a shelter and choose adoption.”
On Kim’s dogs, one fan predicted:
“They’ll be in a new home by March.”
But it looks like that ain’t the case!
Over the weekend, Kimmy Kakes hopped on Instagram to share two photos of the four pups, captioning the post:
“welcome to the fam”

Inneresting thing to say considering she already introduced them to her followers months ago… maybe she just wants a redo after all the initial backlash! Maybe she saw that one comment about them being gone by March and wanted to prove them wrong, LOLz! Regardless, her fans still weren’t really having it:
“girl u do not need 4 dogs”
“Didn’t she have other Pomeranian dogs too? Are they still alive? Does she still have them?”
“They are not accessories. Please treat them with kindness and respect “
“pls adopt a rescue friends”
“Kim now why would we do this”
“I hope I see these dogs in 10-15 years with you ugh”
We certainly hope so too! We’re sure the whole fam does!
