Move over Housewives, meet the real “bitches” of New York City…and their mommies.
Doggie Moms, premiering Feb. 16, will chronicle the over-the-top rivalry between five New York women whose lives revolve around their yappy pampered pooches.
The six-part series documents the women going above and beyond just carting their dog around everywhere they go too. These moms have high hopes for their canine children!
We’ll get a behind the scene looks at the moms entering their dogs in pageants, auditioning them for modeling gigs, and dressing them up in tutus and designer duds for birthday parties and charity events.
Although the show will premiere only on NYC Life, one of the city’s official television channels, the production company hopes to get corporate sponsorship for a second season or license the show in other markets, so there is still future hope for all the reality-doggie fans out there who don’t live in the Big Apple.

“A charming ballet of egos and innuendo — with a bit of backbiting along the way — but at the end of the day, they are all friends.”
