US military officials have confirmed that the army’s Aberdeen Proving Ground will no longer be using test monkeys.
Yay!
PETA’s campaign against the poisoning of test monkeys to simulate nerve-agent exposure has worked!
With the help of veterans, physicians, active service members, Woody Harrelson and many of U animal lovers, the Army has decided to replace the monkeys with human patient simulators.
It just shows what a little protest and tons of emails and phone calls can do!
Way to go, PETA!
