Megan Park, who plays cheerleader Grace Bowman on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, is the star of PETA’s latest anti-fur campaign.
The ad is a picture of her alongside the cutest beagle-looking dog and it read:
“If You Wouldn’t Wear Your Dog, Please Don’t Wear Any Fur or Fur Trim.”
In a PETA interview, Megan said:
“The way that they get fur is awful and it’s horrible and I think that people just don’t want to think about it. They become selfish and they become superficial and they just want to look a certain way.
These animals are skinned alive and kept in small little cages. There’s no reason for it.”
We agree with you 100% and hope that this campaign will make people think twice when purchasing their winter coat.
