Morrissey Joins No Cruel Cosmetics Campaign

After just being named PETA’s UK person of the year for 2011, Morrissey is back at it again, this time joining an anti-cruelty cosmetics campaign.
He is taking a stance against vivisection, which is surgery conducted on a living creature for experimental purposes.
He joins Sir Paul McCartney and Kimberly Wyatt in the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection’s (BUAV) No Cruel Cosmetics drive.
Morrissey said:

“Say no to injecting, force-feeding or forcing animals to inhale substances for a new lipstick or shampoo.
Please join me in signing the BUAV No Cruel Cosmetics petition to stop the sale of new animal tested cosmetics in the EU.”

Hopefully something like that could make its way over to America, and help save all our poor, little test critters.
